We had a silent retreat from November 6th to 8th at "Mary, Help of Christians" in the city of Tampa, Florida. Around 70 girls from Ave Maria University attended.

Fr. Felix, Fr. Colum and Fr. Henry took turns giving talks, points of meditation and homilies. Kathy Dittus added a musical touch to the celebrations. During the talks there was always a priest hearing confessions, which was very good and gave everyone a chance to receive this sacrament.

The retreat began on Friday afternoon and ended with the celebration of the Eucharist on Sunday morning.

At the end of the reatreat, all the girls had big smiles on their faces. We had lunch and then a meeting to share the graces received. Many commented that it was the first time they had ever attended a silent retreat, even though they were already in their final year at the university. Seeing how many graces they had received, they encouraged other young people to make the most of these retreats as an opportunity to approach the Lord and better hear His voice.
