On Saturday, January 16, Rosa Duque, pediatrician and member of the Groups of Prayer of the Sacred Heart, came from Madrid to Alcala de Guadaira (Seville) on a “quick apostolic trip” to give a talk on sexual education entitled: “Created to Love.”
In the morning, a group of 26 girls came to the Shrine of Our Lady of Aguila. They ranged from ages 15-25. The majority of them were from the catechism classes in preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Parish of Saint James (Santiago), others were from Confirmation classes at the “Hermandad de Jesús,” and the others were girls who knew the Sisters. The talk was very interesting and informative. It helped to understand the mystery of the human person, the capacity to love that resides in the will, characteristics of true love...etc. It was greatly enriching for the youth who participated.
Rosa was quite happy with the openness she saw in the girls, as they listened to her. “I have come just in time,” she said. “You can tell that Our Lady of Aguila has been watching over these girls...It is evident that Our Blessed Mother is among us.” In the afternoon, she talked to a group of women who come to the formation talks given by the Sisters, who are the “best friends” of the Home of the Mother. The experience was equally rewarding, not only in the contents of the talk, but also thanks to Rosa's personal testimony. On Sunday, Rosa gave meditation points for the Holy Hour before the Mass and before lunch, she even made time to talk to another group of people. Her trip was very full and well spent. May the Lord and Our Mother bless Rosa and reward her for her efforts to come all the way to Seville and for her time and dedication.
