The Home of the Mother of the Youth
The Home of the Mother of the Youth is a group of Christian youth that has begun in the Church and is at her service. Their goal is to follow Jesus Christ and fulfill their three missions:the Defense of the Eucharist, the Defense of the Honor of Our Mother, especially in the privilege of her virginity and the conquest of the youth for Jesus Christ.
Brief History of the HMY
On the 29th of July, 1982, six girls began the youth group called the Home of the Mother of the Youth whilst on a
pilgrimage directed by the Founder of the Home, Fr. Rafael Alonso Reymundo, a diocesan priest.
A year later, on the 27th of December, 1983, the male branch of the HMY was born.
By the express desire of the founder, these two branches were commenced before the tomb of the Apostle St. Peter in Rome, in order to manifest in this way that the work of the Home of the Mother must be based on the obedience to the Pope and to all the bishops in communion with him.
