The objective of the Home of the Mother Summer Encounters is to create a simple and fun environment to help children grow from both the human and spiritual point of view.
From the human point of view, the Servant Sisters, Brothers, and Priests of the Home help young people form themselves in values that will help them to become mature Catholic men and women in today's society. From the spiritual point of view, they try to ensure that they understand the significance and need for prayer life and the fact that they should be striving for holiness every day.
Activities include:
- Games
- Hikes
- Sports
- Crafts
- Swimming (depending on the location)
- Songs in English and Spanish
- Daily Mass
- Prayers
The Home of the Mother has over 25 years of experience giving these encounters in Spain, Ireland, the USA, Mexico, Italy, and Ecuador.
