From July 3rd to 17th, a pilgrimage for boys to Santiago de Compostela, Spain, took place. The pilgrimage began with a trip to Fatima on July 3rd, where we spent a few days honoring our Blessed Mother, in the places where she appeared to the three young children. We were able to celebrate Mass at the apparition site. The general consensus was that the Rosary processions at night were the highlight of this stop.
Our actual camino began north of Fatima in Rubiaes, where we began our journey of more than one hundred miles, ending at the tomb of Saint James, in Santiago de Compostela.

During the whole trip we were led by yellow arrows, guiding us through forests, small towns, busy intersections, and long industrial roads, giving us a physical symbolic guide of our spiritual consolations and desolations.
We all thank God for the graces we were given to persevere past many blisters, allowing us to reach our destination on July 13, resting in awe of the grandeur of the cathedral in Santiago.

The tomb of Saint James was behind the main altar of the church. We were only allowed a short two minutes to stop and pray, but even in this short time we were able to realize the importance of the figure before whom we were kneeling.
