YouthThe Home of the Mother of the Youth is a group of Christian youth that has begun in the Church and is at her service. Their goal is to follow Jesus Christ and fulfill their three missions:the Defense of the Eucharist, the Defense of the Honor of Our Mother, especially in the privilege of her virginity and the conquest of the youth for Jesus Christ.

How would you describe yourself?
Simple, joyful, with a good heart.

Have you had an encounter with God? When did you first “find” Him?
Yes, I know Him spiritually speaking, but it would be great to meet Him in person. After a time of suffering in my life, Providence led me to begin getting to know Him more and I am now undergoing a process of conversion.

What would be the hardest thing God could ask of you?
If I had to stop playing sports, because soccer is my life, but I am open to whatever God, my Father and Lord, has in store for me as I know that I am only an instrument.

What would you like the moment of your death to be like?
Ha ha…I’d like to fall asleep and then open my eyes and find myself in heaven.

Are you afraid of dying?
Yazmani-casa-del-doliente
No.

What virtue do you consider most important?
Faith and humility.

What virtue do you find in yourself?
Faith, but perhaps a bit of every virtue.

What defect would you like to rid yourself of, as soon as possible?
Being lazy and sloppy.

What virtue do you consider most important in a man?
Strength of spirit, chastity, and purity.

Is it possible for a young person to be a saint?
Of course it is. All of us are called to be saints, but religious are those who most set an example for us, imitating the example of JESUS AND MARY.

Where do you find meaning in your life?
In the Eucharist and the Cross: In the Eucharist, because it is Jesus present to us in His Body and Blood. In the Cross, because it’s where we see Jesus there crucified for our sins.

What would you tell a young person who doesn’t find meaning in his life?
I’m not good at giving advice to people, but I’d tell them to go to Mass and seek reconciliation with God through confession and encourage them, reminding them that God is merciful and always ready to welcome us back to HIM.

What would you never do?
Turn my back on GOD, my LORD, and take someone’s life.

What is the best thing that’s ever happened to you?
It’s still happening…my conversion towards holiness and getting to know God my Father better.

And the worst thing?
Letting my FAITH be suffocated by worldly things.

What would you like to tell the Lord if you could speak with Him now?
I would tell Him that I love Him and ask His help in becoming a better man of FAITH.

What does it mean to “open one’s heart to God”?
Be generous with HIM.

How would you summarize your life up until now?
A bit disorganized, with its ups and downs…until now, because I’ve finally got my head on right and in this process of my conversion I am trying to wipe out the stains on my soul.
