In honor of the Immaculate Conception - From Fabero

On the occasion of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, the Servant Sisters in Fabero held a meeting for catechists at our house, for prayer, discussion, and a cup of coffee.

A beautiful bouquet of flowers for Our Lady filled the afternoon with color.

Not everyone could come. Flora, even though she had to work, brought us over a delicious cheesecake to share.  Nuria and Merce couldn't make it either, due to work and family commitments.

For Raquel, Susana, Aurora, and Marta, it was their second time, as they had come to the event last year with us. Our newcomers this year were Marlen and Graciela. From the start, there was a spirit of joy and amiability. We chatted, prayed the Rosary, and sang to Our Blessed Mother – which, by the way, they do really well. To finish off the afternoon, we continued chatting as we had some coffee and special sweet treats that they had brought, including cheesecake and fried zucchini flowers made by our pro-Chef Sister Leticia.

As we were saying good-bye to them, they told us: “We should do this every year.” So, it looks like the catechists' get-together in honor of the Immaculate Conception has now officially become an annual event.
