The Home of the Mother had a celebration on July 2nd: 10 Servant Brothers and 23 Servant Sisters consecrated themselves to God.
The Servant Brothers´ ceremony took place at 11:30 in the morning. Three brothers made their first vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience: William Esparza, Kristian Espejon, and Michael Likoudis. They also made a fourth vow of defending the Eucharist and Our Lady´s honor in and with their lives. Seven Brothers renewed these same vows: Peter Dittus, Joseph Bloomer, Luke Demasi, Andrew Krische, Kevin Deakin, Carl Maes, and Joseph Valle.
After lunch, the second mass was celebrated at 6:30 in the afternoon for the Servant Sisters´ vows. There were 11 Sisters who made the same vows for the first time, for the length of one year: Michelle Klobe, Kelly Sanders, Kristina Pezo, Nataly Vera, Jennifer Moreira, Leonor Cedeño, Paulette Maes, Stacey Donovan, Annemarie Naimann, Anais Hiedra and Sasha Smith. During the ceremony, 12 Servant Sisters also renewed their vows: Kelly Jo Foht, Kelai Reno, Laura Vera, Ana María Lapeña, Bernadette Clare, Alison Van de Voorde, Katie Wallyn, Sara Fernández, Sara María Zambrano, Rosalynn Núñez, Caitlin Grant, and Maribel Vera, thus continuing in their journey of consecration to God.
Both ceremonies took place in Torrent, a small town close to Valencia (Spain), in a Church that is part of Mother Sacramento School run by the FASTA Education Center. The ceremonies were presided by the Home of the Mother´s founder, Fr. Rafael Alonso.
We give thanks to God for the vocations of these Brothers and Sisters, and we ask Our Blessed Mother to grant them the gift of perpetual fidelity, helping them to be strong in their faith, joyful in their hope, and ardent in their charity.
