Perpetual Adoration

MisaLast Sunday, September 16th, the Servant Brothers in the community of Valencia, Spain, attended a Mass in the Cathedral at 8 pm, with the motive of the inauguration of Perpetual Adoration.  The Mass was presided by the Archbishop, Monsegnior Carlos Osoro.

The Cathedral was filled with adorers and faithful from all of Valencia.  The ceremony was very solemn and fully participated.  Father Justo Lofeudo, missionary of the Most Holy Eucharist, concelebrated the Mass.  He has already begun about 30 perpetual adoration chapels in Spain, and to this day not one has closed.

AdoraciónAfter the Holy Mass in the Cathedral, the Eucharist was taken in solemn procession to the parish of Saint Martin of Tours.  It was impressive to see the people kneel down both inside and outside of the Cathedral as the Eucharist passed by in procession.  The bells were rung, hymns were sung to the Lord, and there was an environment of joy and of devotion.

As the procession arrived at the Church of Saint Martin, the Archbishop gave the blesing to all with the Blessed Sacrament.  Afterwards, the Blessed Sacrament was taken to a side chapel where the first turns of adoration began.

An oasis of graces and bessings has been opened to all of Valencia and all of Spain.
