Girls get-together in Móstoles, Madrid (Spain), November 23, 2014, Feast of Jesus Christ, the King of the Universe.
On November 22, we celebrated the eve of the Solemnity of Jesus Christ, King of the universe. The Servant Sisters of Móstoles had a get together for girls from 7 to 13 years old in honor of Jesus Christ, King of the universe, and of His Blessed Mother, Queen of all things created.
We started the festivities at 4 in the afternoon with some games to break the ice. Suddenly, two helpers of the royal castle came into the room to make an invitation to the girls and teach them how to behave in the castle and how to greet the king. Then, with a great deal of excitement, the girls were at the entrance of the castle to go through the security checkpoint and enter. After having greeted their Majesties, the kings, we talked about the kingdom of Jesus Christ and the fight against evil.
Then, the girls were entrusted with the mission to find the crowns and scepters for the coronation that was going to take place that evening. They overcame all the obstacles until finding the path that would allow them to find the lost treasures. After finding them, we went up to the royal chapel to visit the real King. There we sang and stayed with Him for a while. Finally, the coronation of the Kings took place in the castle.
We spent a wonderful afternoon giving honor to Jesus Christ, the King of the Universe, and trying to console Him.
