Entrance of Jacinto Zambrano in the Capuchin Franciscans in Chone (Ecuador) on November 20, 2014.
On November 20, the Servant Sisters of the Home of the Mother in Chone had the great joy of attending the entrance of Jacinto Zambrano as a postulant to the Capuchin Franciscans.
Jacinto is one of the guys from the Home who has known us since 2010. Three years ago, he met the Capuchins and was very enthusiastic with the Order, especially with their missionary life. He has had several experiences with them, going on missions to very poor communities and proclaiming the Gospel. After a period of discernment, they saw that he was ready to take the next step.
On November 20th, he entered as a postulant along with two other young men. In the same ceremony, four others began their second year as postulants. The sisters of Chone attended his entrance representing all the members of the Home. Jacinto has requested prayers so that the Lord may grant him faithfulness to God's call.
It was a great joy to be able to attend and see the beginning of priestly vocations for the Church. There was an atmosphere of joy, brotherhood, of great desire to surrender to God and of love for the souls of these brothers. Jacinto showed us around the monastery and we could see how happy he was.
We left uplifted and more aware of the need to pray so that every young person might discover God's will and fulfill it with generosity and loyalty.
