Candlelit rosary procession in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid), Spain, May 1, 2016.
Approximately 500 people came to congratulate Our Mother on Mother’s Day, May 1, 2016, with a beautiful rosary of torches on the streets in the center of Alcala de Henares.
The rosary began with a few words by our Bishop Juan Antonio Reig Pla and a song to the Virgin Mary and immediately after we started our humble procession.
Between mysteries we stopped to sing to the Virgin Mary in the different altars prepared for this procession. We ended in the Square of the Bernardas and had chocolate prepared by a team of Cáritas and the Teams of Our Lady, which wanted to give this as a gift to Mary.
We give Her thanks for being Our Mother! Long live the Virgin Mary!
